Yeah it doesn't stop surprising me. Hope your situation clears. And birds are fascinating. I used to walk around and wonder why I never had robins around my house since they were EVERYWHERE else. Then yesterday evening I saw one just staring at me from the roof. Then 2 landed in a nearby tree, much closer than I would expect, and seemed comfortable with me there.
I love this, and just want you to know I've had a very overt visit from another "common" bird with a very, very strong message: the Kingbird. So much change and transition is underway, friend, and I think those of us with connections to the Titans are being asked to look out for ourselves-- and to embrace the poignancy of the quiet moments in our lives, especially if a small bird comes to visit!

Although the kingbird is feisty— it doesn’t give a sh^t about dive bombing much larger predatory birds!! Badass. There really does seem to be this theme of emphasizing the magic in everyday actions and the importance of physical self-care, including taking moments of stillness.
Beautiful piece Madia! I had a similar experience years ago in LA where I saved a sparrow that had flown into my window. I had put it in a box to decompress and gave it reiki. After it reoriented and flew up into our big pine tree in the courtyard, two Ravens swooped in and made it their meal. I was gutted. But - was also reminded of the cycle of life. I’ve learned in some of my animal communication studies that wild animals - fully aware of the lifecycle and their role as either predator or prey - will often leave their body just before the predator strikes and jump quickly into their next incarnation. That has given me some peace, though it’s still difficult for me to see it in real life. (I cried a couple weeks ago when one of my porch spiders showed up dead one morning.) Also - that nuthatch definitely understood you 😉💛. Also - fuck AI!

As humans, we tend to place special importance on creatures we have helped, noticed, or loved— and nature can often remind us that our attention doesn’t make one bird/being more important than one’s that did not receive our attention. (AND I would also feel gutted seeing that bird made a meal for others!) Did you ever get the sense that your assistance to the sparrow served as an offering for the ravens? Or did those particular ravens have a message for you? Just curious!
At the time I remember feeling it was a very clear message of Death and Rebirth-which is what I was moving through at the time. Feels like I still am in some ways! Considering it in present day, there may have been an additional message from the Ravens about transforming or transmuting life force energy and that nothing is ever lost in the life cycle…that our human concept of “loss” is actually not so much loss but just change.

Robins to me always feel happy, and they bring new growth! Ted Andrews says “sing your own song forth if you wish new growth.”
